I had tested at Donington in late 2021 setting respectable times, so was excited to go back. I qualified 3rd for race 1 and 2 and was looking forward to the races, Being Truck Fest weekend there was a big crowed.
Race 1, didn’t get a very good start and drop down to 6th , a lap later the safety car came out due to the incident the red flag was shown. On the restart was starting 5th got a better start into the first corner, went up the inside of turn one to grab 4th but at the end of lap 2 I was running 3rd when a accident at the chicane brought the red flag out again. Due to the time schedule we were unable to have a re-start, we had not completed enough laps to count for a race so the result was void
Race 2, started in 2nd due to penalties, I got great start and was clear in the lead by turn 1. I managed to pull a gap, and maintained the gap. One the last lap, I made a few mistakes ran wide after the old hairpin which allowed 2nd place to get a good run on me to claim first, I finally came 2nd.
